The school at that time was the first U.S. school to branch out beyond classical music and teach jazz & commercial music.
Since then, Berklee College of Music has continued to attract talented students from all over the world – thee school is home to 99 alumni who have won 221 Grammy Awards in total. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and is recognized as one of the top music schools in the U.S.
This month, Berklee released the official app for their award-winning online extension school Berkleemusic.
