Mobile Roadie Artists Win Big at the MTV Video Music Awards

Were you one of the 6.1 million viewers to watch the MTV Video Music Awards last night? If not, fear not, we have the Mobile Roadie scoop on what went down yesterday at the VMAs held for the first time ever at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.

Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, the VMAs kicked off with a sizzling performance by Rihanna. Other hot performances followed, including Pink, Green Day, the stars of the night One Direction, Frank Ocean, and Alicia Keys. Taylor Swift closed the night out with her latest single “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together”.

In between these memorable performances, Moonmen landed in the hands of the VMA winners, some of whom are Mobile Roadie artists!

Best Hip-Hop Video was awarded to Drake (feat. Lil Wayne) for “HYFR”.

Chris Brown won Best Male Video and Best Choreography for “Turn Up the Music”.

Demi Lovato received a Moonman for Best Video with a Message for “Skyscraper”.

For the Best Art Direction category, Katy Perry won with “Wide Awake”

Other artists who took home awards include Rihanna (Video of the Year), Nicki Minaj (Best Female Video), One Direction, Coldplay, Calvin Harris, Beyonce, M.I.A., and Skrillex.
