Mobile Roadie Partners with MXP4 to Bring Bopler Games to Apps

posted by Terri Kim

We’re excited to announce that we have partnered with MXP4, a developer of innovative music solutions for artists, fans, brands, labels and distribution platforms, to bring Bopler Games into our artist apps!

MXP4 believes that the music experience should connect with people on a more personal, engaging level, where people don’t just play music, they “play with it, share it, and make it part of their world,” to which we completely agree with. So we’re excited to offer this new social feature in our app platform, which is guaranteed to entertain and engage fans.

MXP4′s Bopler Games for Mobile Roadie debuts with their popular “Pump it!” game in our David Guetta app, which allows fans to enjoy engaging game play that is deeply integrated with popular Guetta tracks right on the app. The artist-branded Bopler Games will fully leverage the advanced social gaming functionality of our platform, building on top of our present gamification features. Users can increase their overall standing within the David Guetta app by scoring points in the integrated game. With points, they have the ability to win achievement badges and be featured in leaderboards.

“Social networking and gaming are now two of the most popular activities on mobile devices, so developing a mobile version of Bopler Games was a high priority for MXP4,” said CEO Albin Serviant (MXP4). “Mobile Roadie is the top provider of highly-customzied, immersive artists-branded mobile apps, and we’re elated to be working with them to expand both of our offerings for music fans around the world.”

With games being the most popular category of apps, we look forward to working with MXP4 to bring games to many more Mobile Roadie apps.

Mobile Roadie Powers Official LA Kings Mobile App

posted by Terri Kim

We’re very excited to announce the release of the official LA Kings mobile app sponsored by Verizon! Now fans can check upcoming matches & updated standings, read Kings news, view videos & photos, listen to podcasts, purchase Kings merchandise, share to their social networks, and so much more right on the app.

Announced on the LA Kings Website, Facebook page and Twitter profile last Friday afternoon, fans can’t get enough of the app. And in one day, the LA Kings app catapulted to a spot in the Top 20 free apps in Sports in the App Store. The app has already been mentioned on various news sources including socal Tech, LA Kings Insider, and iOSnoops. With the Android version releasing later this week, we expect there to be even more buzz.

According to Kings President (Business Operations) Luc Robitaille, “This app will not only efficiently deliver content to our fans, but it will provide an engaging interactive experience between the Kings and our users, and also the ability to share information with other users.”

We couldn’t agree more. CEO Michael Schneider said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with the LA Kings, a team in our hometown. Our partnership with the LA Kings provides fans a brand new way to engage with their favorite team including the ability to watch behind-the-scenes video of players and events.”

Mobile Roadie powers the TEDx Seeds Conference app

posted by Terri Kim

TED is a nonprofit organization dedicated to “Ideas Worth Spreading” through annual conferences aimed to bring together fascinating individuals from the Technology, Entertainment, Design industries and beyond.  TED’s mission is to change attitudes, lives, and ultimately, the world, through the power of ideas from “the world’s most inspired thinkers…and communities of curious souls” hungry for information. And while there are two official conferences held each year, one in Long Beach/Palm Springs and the second held in Edinburgh, Scotland, TED inspired events are happening across the globe, stimulating conversation and the sharing of ideas everyday.

One TED inspired programs is the TEDx program, which “gives communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.” Planned and coordinated independently on a community-by-community basis, each TEDx event is created in the spirit of “Ideas Worth Spreading” and sparks “deep conversation and connections” through screenings of TEDTalks videos and live presenters.

TEDx events are happening all the time across the world from Dubai to Brazil and Pakistan to the UK. On October 22nd in Yokohama, Japan, the third annual TEDxSeeds conference will take place, providing the venue “where seeds of ideas from Japan and other parts of the world will be shared and connected to make new seeds for the future.”

Attendees can download the official TEDxSeeds app powered by Mobile Roadie to share ideas with each other during and after the conference, view conference logistics, and more. In addition, through our partner Ustream, the conference is scheduled to stream live through the app, so anyone with the app can view the conference in real-time.
